Once a busy hub of local law and order, this Victorian police station has been meticulously restored into a characterful holiday retreat. The station officially opened on September 1, 1895. It was built in a Victorian style and served as a combined police station and courthouse for 115 years. In 2012, the community group 4CG Ltd purchased the old station and courthouse using funds from a community share offer to preserve the iconic local landmark. While the imposing stone exterior retains its original grandeur, including the original jail cells, cell doors,—the interior has been transformed into a warm, light-filled sanctuary. 4CG was created by a small group of locals that felt they could enhance the area of Cardigan by developing and encouraging existing opportunities. 4CG focuses on the local economy and an attempt to encourage local people to shop locally to support small local businesses and prevent all local money going to distant shareholders in large companies.

Experience a truly unique escape in this beautifully restored Cardigan Court House landmark. Once the center of local justice, this former magistrates' court has been expertly converted into a sophisticated holiday retreat that blends centuries of heritage with contemporary comfort.
